Your buyer may name a specific method (for example AATCC instead of ISO). Tell us when you order and we'll confirm the lab can run it.
Prices
One price per package
Basic testing has one price; other packages are quoted on request. Testing covers the lab test; certificate, business and lab report checks are separate.
Verification
Check a supplier's certificates, business and reports
Send us the certificate, the business details or the lab report. A person checks certificates on the GOTS, OEKO-TEX or Textile Exchange registry, businesses on the GST or company registry, and lab reports with the lab that issued them. A match shows a badge; the details behind it are masked.
Clear roles
What we do, and what labs and certifiers do
- Accredited labs issue the test reports; certification bodies issue certificates. TexPass arranges the tests and checks, and puts the results on a passport.
- A lab result applies to the sample tested and the lot or order it came from.
- For US children's products (12 and under), the importer issues the Children's Product Certificate, based on tests by a lab CPSC has accepted for each required test. Tell us when a product is for children and we'll confirm the lab before you order.
- Compliance decisions stay with the importer: the reports and certificates give you the evidence.
Questions about testing
Do I need a passport to order testing?
No. Tell us the product, the supplier and the market you sell in. We arrange the tests at an NABL-accredited lab and send you the lab's report, with the results on a private product passport you own.
How does the sample reach the lab?
You or your supplier send the sample to our Tiruppur or Bangalore office, by courier or drop-off. We photograph it on arrival, keep a sealed counter-sample and send it to an NABL-accredited lab.
Which labs do you use?
NABL-accredited labs in India, where we run testing for products made anywhere. Every report names the lab that issued it and carries the lab's own report number.
How long does testing take?
Each package shows its usual lab turnaround in working days, counted from the day the lab receives the sample. Your order page shows each step as it happens.
Can TexPass issue the US Children's Product Certificate?
No. The US importer or domestic manufacturer issues the Children's Product Certificate, based on tests by a third-party lab that CPSC has accepted for each required test. Tell us when a product is for children and we'll confirm which lab can run the tests before you order.
Can I pay from outside India?
Yes. Prices are in US dollars, so you see exactly what you pay. Your bank's exchange rate applies if you pay in another currency.
