1.Who we are and accepting these terms

TexPass (gettexpass.com) is run by the TexPass team. By creating an account or using TexPass you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use TexPass for a company, you confirm you may act for it.

2.What TexPass does

TexPass lets suppliers publish a free passport for a fabric lot and share it by link or QR code. Buyers can open passports, ask suppliers for them, and order a verification check or a lab test.

TexPass is not a lab or a certification body. Accredited labs issue test reports; TexPass coordinates the tests and shows the reports. Certificates are issued by their certification bodies.

3.Your account

• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what is done from your account.
• One company per account for now. Tell us if someone leaves your company.
• You must be 18 or older.

4.Your content and uploads

You are responsible for what you upload and publish. In particular:

• Upload only documents you are allowed to share.
• Never upload documents you know to be forged, altered or false.
• A supplier's or another company's certificate may be shown only as theirs, never as yours.
• Check details that TexPass reads from your documents before you confirm them.

You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store it, process it to run TexPass (including automated reading) and show what you choose to publish to anyone with the link. See the acceptable use policy.

5.What the labels mean

• Verified: a person at TexPass checked the certificate on the official registry (the GOTS database, OEKO-TEX Label Check or Textile Exchange) or with the certification body, on the date shown. It shows what the registry said that day, and it ends when the certificate expires.
• Lab-tested: TexPass received and logged the sample, and an accredited (NABL) lab tested it and issued the report. The result applies only to the lot that was sampled.
• Everything else on a passport is the maker's own details and documents, shown as the maker gave them.

No label is a guarantee that a product complies with the rules of any market. Buyers should make their own decisions. More on how verification works and in our disclaimer.

6.Public company pages

Each company gets a public page with its name, type, city, country, verified company certificates and published passports. It is on by default. The company owner can turn it off in Company settings.

7.Prices and payments

• Passports are free. Verification checks and lab tests are paid.
• Prices come from our price list and are shown before GST. GST is added and shown before you pay.
• Prices marked indicative are estimates; your order shows the price you pay.
• You pay through a payment link (for example by UPI). We never ask for your card or bank details by message.

8.Verification checks and lab tests

• A verification fee pays for the check, not for a result. If a certificate can't be verified, it simply isn't shown as Verified.
• Test results go to the supplier first. The supplier decides whether to publish them. A failed result is never shown as passed.
• Each test package has one price, shown before you order, plus GST. It covers the lab tests, handling the sample and adding the report to the passport.

Cancellations and refunds follow our refund policy.

9.Reports and takedowns

If you believe a passport shows a forged document or someone else's document, tell us (see the acceptable use policy). We may review the item, ask the owner for proof, remove the item or withdraw the passport.

10.Availability and changes during the pilot

TexPass is in a pilot. We may change, add or stop features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We will try to give notice of changes that affect you.

11.Limitation of liability

We provide TexPass with care, but we can't be responsible for documents others upload, for what a registry or lab says, or for a buyer's or authority's decision. Our intent is that our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the order concerned.

Indemnity: if a claim is brought against us because of content you uploaded, you agree to cover our reasonable costs.

12.Ending your use

• You can delete your account at any time from Your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that uploads forged documents, misuses TexPass or breaks these terms.
• Published passport codes stay reserved after an account ends, so a printed QR code never points to someone else's fabric.

13.Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

We may update these terms. We change the date at the top and tell you about important changes.
